Yelp. Just like that. No morning sickness or hormones – just a ton paper work and hours of prayer. Barring any unforeseen situations, Em and I will be adopting a little boy around the second of February. Granted, it could be a tad earlier or later – depending on how quickly he wants to exit the womb. [...] Why must we always try to forge our own path? Why must ever generation think that they are ‘different’? Could we not lean on the teachings of our fore-fathers and learn from their lives? Yet, as I pulled up to work this morning, the song Chicken Fried came on the radio and I couldn’t help but think about the words: Cold beer on a Friday night I was bored. Instead of picking up a book or doing my homework, I decided to browse Hulu. Not necessary the best thing to do – but a fun thing to do on a cold lazy morning when the gravitation field of the bed is strong then one’s will.
